The Shri Raghavendra Seva Samithi, Melbourne celebrated the Shri Raghavendrar Aradhanai ina a grand scale this year. A group of kannadiga's were already celebrating the aradhanai every year privately. We formed a commitee this year, incorporated the same this year. We wanted to celebrate the aradhanai in a grand style this year. A commitee meeting was held every month and the main topic of discussion was about the aradhanai, followed by bhajans.

Coconut Chutney for Rice
Many people would not have heard that you can use coconut chutney for rice. And no, this coconut rice does not have any fried grams (pottukadalai). It is the simplest of all the chutneys and tastes very yum. Here's it s recipe. Ingredients: Fresh coconut, scraped - 1 cup Green Chillies - 2, or more if u want it spicy Tamarind or lemon juice - small marble size or 2 tbsp of lemon juice (optional, but tastes better if u use them) Salt - To taste Seasoning Ingredients: Oil - 2 tbsp Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp Hing - 1 pinch Urad Daal - 1 tbsp Curry leaves - 1 twig Last Updated (Thursday, 26 August 2010 02:02) Adarsh and his Plane toy
I bought Adarsh a plane toy when I came down from Sydney last month. He was looking after it very carefully and one fine day broke it by accident. He has been asking for a new one since then and found the time to buy one today. I started teasing him by saying that the plane is for Sammu and the video is about his reaction.
