Ingredients:
Tamarind - One small lemon sized
Water - 3 to 4 cups
Rasam Powder - 1.5 to 2 tbsp
Hing / Asafoetida - One pinch + one pinch (for seasoning)
Turmeric Powder - One pinch (Optional)
Cumin Seeds - 1 tea spoon
Black Pepper - 1 tea spoon
Curry Leaves - 1 twig
Coriander - A small bunch
Ghee - 1 tea spoon (for seasoning)
Salt - To taste

We had the annual Tamil Sangam celebrations in April this year. Samyuktha sang 'Mukunda Mukunda' song from the movie Dasavatharam. She received plenty of applauses when she changed her voice to sing as an old woman. For your listening and watching pleasure.
